This is a great bed for our girls. Took about 1.5 hours for me to assemble alone. (Use a powered screwdriver with a hex bit, trust me)The slide is VERY steep. It ends with a floor piece and kids have to go down carefully or you can really ouch your bum. They still like it but my older kid comes down the ladder more than the slide.Also ive had to retighten some of the bolts a few times. Probably should have used some type of threadlocker on them but the wood is sorta cheap so it might not help. Also dont overtighten bolts cause I did and caused a few small cracks in the paint.So. If I could kiss the vendor I would! My husband was going to pay someone to put it together. I told him I read the reviews and I think I can build it, pay me lol . So After I realized I'm horrible at using a power drill I just used the tool that came with it and was able to assemble it within maybe 2 hours. The instructions are awesome and simple. And it's sturdy and not a piece missing or chipped or scratched. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old that were never crib babies and I've tried the toddler beds and all but this was a hit. They love it and I cried! Its super low to the ground so I'm not too concerned about my babies falling out. Its very sturdy and did I mention I put it together by myself. And yes I did get my paid. Lol you guys if you want your kids to sleep in their own beds because you just can't seem to kick them out of yours lol this is the way to go.P.S. the rug, the curtain and bed spreads all from Amazon. IKR!!!P.S.Again. excuse the toy boxesMy kids loved their bed! It was a surprise for them so I had to make sure and build it while they were in school. I was nervous in the beginning but it was very easy step by step instructions. I will say, it is definitely easier building with a partner.Sturdy, and assembly was easy. The only wierd thing is that half is delivered by amazon and the Rest by fedex.Bought this bed because i already have two twin mattress. Both mattress are 6 inch to short for this bunk bed! Very depressingI really wanted to love this bed. I do think it’s a nice color and overall my boys love it. However, the screws did not really go through well and the wood is not super sturdy. I didn’t build the full bunk bed so I left it as two separate beds because of other concerns.My kids truly love their bunk bed. My 3 year old sleeps on the bottom bunk and I am able to lay with him until he falls asleep. My 6 year old daughter loves sleeping on the top and sliding down to hang out with her brother. Directions were easy to follow and I assemblied it all by myself.The construction of the bed is not the best. Some of the holes don’t line up and some holes were even missing! A few pieces of the wood was cracked as well! I wouldn’t recommend this bed!!!! I wish I would’ve bought something else .
